Karen Asche has been crowned Calypso Monarch, snatching the $2m prize from the hands of veteran calypsonians like Sugar Aloes who came in second. Neal & Massy Trinidad All Stars also became a $2 million band when their high energy performance beat the big guns to earn the historic prize in the Panorama finals. And millionnaire Machel Montano took advantage of the Soca Monarch competition, running away with the $2 million prize. Congratulations to them all!
